1013. Rare Limbert Cafe/Lamp Table No. 318 w/Cutouts in quartersawn oak. Only the second of this form known to have ever surfaced! Extremely bold and substantial form with great dimensions. Marked under top in two places with the number "318" stamped. Also has a paper retailer's label. Excellent condition with what appears to be one very old refinish. T&G top is 1.25" thick, 28" diameter, 29.25" tall. The only other known example of this form has an oilcloth/leatherette covering, and was also marked with the number "318" as well as a branded "Limberts" shopmark. It has sold twice at auction, and has brought over $5,500 each time.
